Today is the last call. Enrolled members of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs who want their artwork considered for judging in the Museum at Warm Springs’ 33rd Annual Tribal Member Art Exhibit must deliver their submissions by 5 p.m. this Tuesday, October 20.

The annual exhibit is one of the most anticipated cultural events on the reservation, celebrating the creative work of both adult and youth tribal artists across all media. Artists who miss today’s competition deadline still have one more window: artwork for “display purposes only” will be accepted through Tuesday, October 27, also at 5 p.m.

Opening Night and Exhibition Run

The 33rd Annual Warm Springs Tribal Member and Youth Exhibit opens with a public reception on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Museum at Warm Springs. The exhibit runs through Saturday, February 20, 2027 — a three-month showcase that gives the Warm Springs community and visitors from across Central Oregon ample time to experience the show.

The Museum at Warm Springs, located along U.S. Highway 26 on the reservation, houses one of the Pacific Northwest’s most significant collections of Native American art and cultural artifacts. Its annual tribal member exhibit centers living artists from the Warm Springs, Wasco, and Paiute communities — a celebration spanning traditional forms and contemporary expression.

A Tradition in Its Fourth Decade

Now in its 33rd year, the exhibit has grown into a beloved community institution. It gives tribal artists of all ages and skill levels a platform to share their work with both the Warm Springs community and the general public. Adult artists submitting by today’s deadline are eligible for judging and monetary awards. Youth artwork is featured alongside adult work throughout the show, reflecting the museum’s investment in encouraging the next generation of Warm Springs artists.

The November 18 opening reception is open to the public and consistently draws strong attendance from tribal members and Jefferson County area residents alike — one of the genuine cultural highlights of the fall season in this part of Oregon.
