The Museum at Warm Springs is accepting entries through Monday, October 20 for its 33rd Annual Warm Springs Tribal Member and Youth Exhibit — a beloved annual tradition celebrating the artistic talent and cultural expression of Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs members of all ages.
The opening reception is scheduled for Wednesday, November 18, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. and is open to Museum members and the general public alike.
A Community Tradition Entering Its Fourth Decade
Now in its 33rd year, the annual tribal member exhibit has long served as a cornerstone of cultural programming at the Museum at Warm Springs — one of the few institutions in the United States dedicated entirely to a specific Native American tribal culture and its living heritage.
Past exhibits have featured an extraordinary range of artistic expression: traditional beadwork and regalia, photography, painting, sculpture, mixed-media pieces, and works that bridge ancestral practice with contemporary artistic vision. Youth participants have consistently been among the exhibit's most celebrated contributors, bringing fresh perspectives rooted in tribal identity.
This year's showcase follows a strong showing at the 32nd Annual Exhibit, which drew broad community participation and visitors from across the region.
Submit Your Work Before the Deadline
Tribal members interested in submitting artwork should contact the Museum at Warm Springs directly before the October 20 deadline. The museum is located on the Warm Springs Reservation, approximately 11 miles south of Madras on U.S. Highway 26.
"The annual exhibit is one of our most anticipated programs of the year. It's a powerful opportunity for tribal artists of all ages and skill levels to share their voice and vision with the community."
Plan Your Visit
The exhibit opens with the November 18 reception and will be on display at the museum for several weeks following. Whether you're a longtime visitor or have yet to make the trip, the annual tribal member exhibit is among the most meaningful arts events in Jefferson County and Central Oregon.
