The Museum at Warm Springs is inviting tribal artists to submit their work for the upcoming 33rd Annual Warm Springs Tribal Member Adult and Youth Art Exhibit, with an opening reception scheduled for Wednesday, November 18, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.
The community showcase will run from November 18, 2026, through February 20, 2027, offering artists a multi-month platform to display their work to visitors from across the region and beyond.
Celebrating Tribal Artists of All Ages
Now in its 33rd year, the exhibit remains one of the most anticipated cultural events of the year for the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs — a nation of the Wasco, Warm Springs (Tenino), and Paiute peoples whose reservation spans roughly 640,000 acres in north-central Oregon, adjacent to Jefferson County.
The exhibit welcomes submissions in a wide range of media, from traditional beadwork and weaving to painting, photography, and sculpture. Youth artists are especially encouraged to participate, making the annual show a multigenerational celebration of creative expression within the tribal community.
The Museum at Warm Springs serves as both a cultural institution and a living archive, housing permanent collections that detail the history and traditions of the Confederated Tribes. Its annual tribal art exhibit turns the spotlight inward — centering the artists themselves as living voices of Indigenous culture in Central Oregon.
Lillian Pitt Exhibition Closes, New Show Begins
The Museum's previous featured exhibition — Lillian Pitt: Art, Memory, Home — closed October 10, 2026, making way for the 33rd annual community showcase. Lillian Pitt, an internationally recognized artist of Warm Springs, Wasco, and Yakama heritage, is celebrated for her ceramic and mixed-media work rooted in Indigenous Pacific Northwest traditions.
