Mark your calendars: the Jefferson County Fair & Rodeo returns this summer, running July 21–25, 2026 at the Jefferson County Event Complex on Fairgrounds Road in Madras.
The fair is one of the most anticipated community events of the year for Jefferson County, drawing residents from across the region for livestock shows, rodeo competition, open class exhibits, food, and entertainment. The Event Complex spans more than 50 acres and includes over 100,000 square feet of buildings and barns.
A Special Invitation to Warm Springs
Fairgrounds Manager Bart Platt has extended a formal invitation to the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs to participate in this year’s fair — a reflection of the historically important role the Warm Springs community plays in the fabric of Jefferson County life.
“Your presence has long been an important and valued part of our community gatherings, and we deeply appreciate the culture, history, and spirit that the Warm Springs community brings,” Platt said in a message to the Tribes.
Information on open class exhibits and rodeo participation for tribal members and the broader community is available at jeffersoncountyor.gov/fairgrounds.
