Free Concert: Bend Pops Orchestra at Madras PAC — November 21
Mark your calendars for a free afternoon of live music. The Bend Pops Orchestra is bringing its "Spooky Holiday on the Road" tour to Madras for a performance at the Madras Performing Arts Center on Saturday, November 21 at 2:00 p.m.
Admission is completely free, and organizers are encouraging families to bring everyone. The program is described as a family-friendly mix of holiday and seasonal music — a nice way to ease into the holiday season before Thanksgiving week arrives.
The Madras Performing Arts Center is located at 412 SE Buff Street in Madras. Seating is first-come, first-served, so plan to arrive a few minutes early to get a good seat.
Native Market and Community Meal — Veterans Day, November 11
In honor of Veterans Day, a Native Market and Community Meal will be held at St. Charles Madras on Tuesday, November 11, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Local vendors will be set up inside the main hospital entrance offering jewelry, traditional crafts, and other handmade items. A community meal will also be available.
The event is open to the broader Madras community and provides an opportunity to support local Indigenous artisans while honoring the veterans in our community.
